Selection and Characteristics of Composite Sliding Bearing

       In order to solve the mechanical equipment in the high temperature, low speed, heavy load, 

dust, water shower and shock vibration lubrication, the choice of composite sliding bearings.

       1. Bearing the structure of composite sliding bearings in the bearing matrix metal

 friction surface development of the orderly size of the appropriate holes, and embedded in 

molydenum disulfide, graphite and other synthetic self-lubricating slider made in the metal sets,

block can work normally at high temperature of 280 ℃. But because of its low mechanical 

strength, weak carrying capacity, easy to produce deformation, it is embedded in the metal hole 

slot can inhibit this shortcoming, the formation of the metal part from the bearing role, self-

lubricating block from the lubrication. The lubrication mechanism of this composite sliding 

bearing is in the shaft and sleeve sliding friction process, a part of the molecular self-

lubricating material transferred to the metal surface of the shaft, filling the tiny uneven, and 

the formation of a more stable solid lubricating film. Resulting in solid lubricating film 

between the grinding, to prevent the shaft and the sleeve of the adhesivewear. This combination 

of rationality combines the complementary advantages of copper alloy and non-metallic abrasive 

materials, and is particularly suitable for oil-free, high temperature, high load, low speed, 

anti-fouling, corrosion, strong radiation environment, and in water or other solution 

infiltration and simply can not add grease to the special conditions of use.    

     2. Self-lubricating block area than the proportion of self-lubricating block surface area

 with the operating speed, pressure strength, low speed, pressure strength, the area occupied 

by the metal should be larger. Such as grasping the ingot car travel roller bearing self-

lubricating block area of about 25%, pull the spindle shaft bearing lubrication to be sufficient, 

the pressure is not strong, self-lubricating block area of about 65%.

     3. The technical requirements of the busing material should be made of alloy copper alloy, 

bushing to have a high hardness, generally have to heat treatment, the hardness of not less than 

HRC45.

     4. Self-lunbricating block geometry and mosaic requirements. Self-lubricating block shape

 is cylindrical and rectangular two, self-lubricaitng according to the size of the area can be 

used cylindrical, and vice versa can be rectangular. No matter what kind of shape must be 

embedded in a solid, to prevent falling off in operation.

changes,  the gap between the shaft and bushing from the the original metal parts with four (D4 / 

DC4) 0.032 ~ 0.15MM, increased to 0.45 ~ 0.5MM. Self-lubricating block on the side of the 

friction protruding bushing metal 0.2 ~ 0.4MM. This will be in the bearing running the initial 

run-in period to be fully lubricated, reducing the power drag power consumption.
